Do You Hear What I Hear

I learned something interesting. Ear infections are only supposed to happen to kids, and once you're older, they no longer appear. However, I seem to be some sort of crazy exception to this crazy rule, as my left ear has become infected. My two little kids are fine. And somehow I've got an ear infection that's caused my ear to lose all sensation and hearing. Which has in turn caused me to have all the volume turned way up as I'm laying on my good ear, and can no longer hear out of my other ear. It all started with just a cough, and now I'm a grown-up with an ear infection. The little pamphlet the doctor gave me was written for parents about their children. She said that this was the only information they had on ear infections, as once you're older, they go away. I don't know how I'm getting them, but I am. I think I'll use my time at home today without the kids to rest and perhaps create a better page for my little web studio site.
