Good As Ever

Yup, there they are. Well seven out of eight at least. The show was incredible. The music awesome, even the opener was good. We got there about 45 minutes before the doors opened because we wanted to make sure that we were able to grab some chairs. They had limited seating and I just don't like to stand on concrete for the two hour shows anymore. So we were sitting directly stage left, as you can see by this most amazing cellular telephone photographic image. It's always fun to see a live show, and this is the first one with a drummer that I've seen in a really long time. Since they only have the one album, they were able to play each track off of it, plus some of their own stuff and a little Toad for the fans.

This was the second time in one week that I've been to SF. I haven't done that for a while either. And if the plans don't fall through, I'll be there next Saturday for the Blue Angels and Fleet Week. That's a lot of city time. Which is odd, because really, I'm not a big fan.

Finally the text of a letter that my son wrote yesterday. In full on one sheet of paper.
"I want this mailed to Tavion's house. Tavion come to my house."
That's it. He was asking how to spell some words but I didn't know what he was writing out. But I like the directness of this. Simply tell the mailman where you would like the letter to go, and then place your message below. He's basically invented email for the post office. Genius.
